Sioux Falls is full of fun and adventure for all ages, even for the night owls in your family. We’ve put together a list of things to do in Sioux Falls to fill your time and create tons of memories. Here are a few of our favorite Sioux Falls activities:
Visit Falls Park
Sioux Falls would be nothing without the gorgeous Falls Park scenery. This public park is open to everyone, and it’s completely free. You can walk up and down the waterways and take beautiful pictures with the sparkling falls. You can even pick up one of the favorite bike trails from this park and ride throughout the city.
Go Geocaching
Even if you’re a native of the Sioux Falls area, you can discover new and exciting parts of the city with the help of geo-caching. This is an addictive hobby that lets you follow your very own treasure hunt to discover things that other hobbyists have left behind. It’s fun and engaging and will give you a bit of a workout along the way.
The Pettigrew Home
The Pettigrew Home was home to South Dakota’s first senator. It has been restored and is now home to an incredible walking tour. The guides truly know their history and will answer any questions you might have along the way. It’s a great way to reconnect with local history.
See Terrace Park
Terrace Park offers a unique opportunity to sit back and enjoy South Dakota’s greenery. The terraces have been outfitted with comfortable benches and rocking chairs so you can bird watch, meditate, or simply observe nature in action.
Stop by Boss’
Once you’re done exploring all of the top things to do in Sioux Falls, it’s time to rustle up some grub. Head on over to Boss’ Pizza & Chicken for the best wings in town. Boss’ is known for their delicious broasted chicken and hot wings complete with their signature sauces. You won’t find better wings anywhere in town. The best part is that Boss’ is open late every night of the week so you won’t have to worry about missing out on meal time if you are busy on an outdoor adventure. We’ll be here waiting for you long after the sun goes down.
You can also call ahead and or order your wings online if you want them brought to your door after a long day of cruising the town. Our delivery service runs until 3 AM!
